Welcome to the BC's official website. This bar has had a long and flavorful history. It started as a cafe that served wine and beer in 1938. Come and see some of the pictures from that time embedded in our new bar.  We are one of, if not the oldest business still operating on the Strand.  It used to be a big biker bar and David Mann featured it in Easy Rider magazine. We have cleaned the old girl up and put on some lipstick. There is a shuffleboard table,  Just as there was in the 40's.  If you love the ocean, surfing, sailing, the islands, or just like a cool, old bar with good music, this is right up your alley.
